Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is a gold-medal-winning Olympic gymnast who captained team U.S. team to victories in both 2012 and 2016. Six of her Olympic gold medals form part of a record-breaking collection. Additionally, she was the winner of two World Championships teams. Aly, a native Massachusettsn who fell in love with gymnastics as young as just 18 months. She participated in a mommy and Me class. Aly is a leader when she's on the floor and off, and a fierce advocate for body positivity and recently has spoken out against Larry Nassar in his sentencing trial. The 1994 birth of Aly Raisman was a turning point in her life. Aly Raisman started gymnastics as a child and also helped her U.S. gymnastics team win the 2011 World Championships. The following year she was awarded two gold medals--one in the team competition and one in the individual floor exercise. She also won a bronze medal for the beam during the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Raisman took silver both in the individual and floor finals at the 2016 Olympics at Rio. She also took home the gold medal from the gymnastics team competition. Raisman revealed in 2017 that she was sexually abused by team doctor Larry Nassar.
